Wabash College was named one of the three best colleges or universities in Indiana, according to SmartAsset, an online destination for consumer-focused financial information.
In identifying the state’s best higher education institutions, SmartAsset used five categories: tuition, student living costs, scholarship and grant offerings, student retention rate, and starting salary for new graduates.
Wabash received a college education value index score of 74.58, which ranked the 192-year-old liberal arts college third in Indiana behind only Purdue (86.80) and Notre Dame (75.14).
Last month, Study Abroad Aide ranked Wabash 47th among the best national liberal arts colleges who offer great value for international students.
